About Me

Based in Austin, Texas, I use my empathy and fresh perspective to make spaces more accessible and delightful. With a background in writing and client support, I’ve been able to see firsthand how user-centered design can make or break a customer’s experience.

I spent my years at college reading and writing about literature, so organizing large bodies of text into patterns and overarching themes, whether user interviews or secondary research, is second nature to me. I was particularly drawn to psychoanalytic theory for its examination of human behavior through stories.

My experiences with management and client support have taught me that I thrive when supporting people in accomplishing their goals. My greatest joy is getting people to tell their stories. In those stories lie their pains and motivations, which guide designers like me in paving new paths.

Design thinking can be applied to all facets of life, from the wicked problems that can seem insurmountable to the smallest everyday habits. As a writer, I have a particular fascination with chatbots and AI. It’s my goal to bring an authentic, human voice to our increasingly automated world.
